Every photograph and story here is our own.
Paris Wine Girl began as a journal, and it still is one. Everything published here, on Instagram and in our letters is written and photographed by Emily Erin, in places we know and would send our own clients.
A journal since 2017, a letter once a month to about 2,600 people, and around 130,000 readers a month across the site, the letter and Instagram. Our readers live mostly in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and many of them are planning a trip to France. Some become clients. Most simply read.
Featured in BBC Travel (2019), Sommelier Business (2021) and Vagabond, the Swedish travel magazine (2023).
Emily Erin wrote and edited the 2025 issue of Bonjour Magazine, was French wine correspondent for the Napa Valley Wine Academy from 2020 to 2022, translates the annual iDealwine Barometer, and interviewed the chef de cave of Veuve Clicquot for this journal.

CommissionsStories for regions, estates and hotels
We work with wine regions, estates, hotels and food makers on stories that suit our readers: features and photography, short films, and letters dedicated to a single place. Partners receive a selection of our photographs to use freely.
Recent work includes Château Les Arcis in Chablis and Hôtel Belles Rives in Juan-les-Pins. This autumn we are in the Côte Chalonnaise for the Paulée, then at Château des Vierres in the Beaujolais in November. In May 2027, a house in Normandy.

How we chooseThree rules, no exceptions
- We only write about places we have visited and would recommend to a client.
- Partnerships are always disclosed.
- Commissions pay for stories, not for a place in our trips. What we recommend to clients is chosen on merit, and we tell you when something was a partnership.
