My story. . .
As an interdisciplinary artist, I have a passion for exploring different ways of moving my body and telling stories through dance performance. I have been training in aerial arts for 15 years with a speciality in aerial hoop and fabric. I formally studied classic feather fan dancing, burlesque and contemporary dance under award-winning performance artists. My style has been described as sensual, elegant and theatrical. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of what is possible with my body and my art.
In 2015, I took first place in the Northwest Aerial Arts Championship in Seattle. In 2016, I took second place in the Pacific Aerial Arts Championship in LA. While competitions, taught me discipline and how to handle high pressure situations, they were not my focus. My passion lies in creating and performing original aerial theatre work. Combining several mediums adds depth and personal meaning to my performances. I have performed on festival stages, aerial and ground based shows, corporate events, nightclubs, and more.
Covid-19 heavy disrupted my performance work. Seeking a creative outlet and intellectual satisfaction, I moved my creative work to marketing, communication, photography and writing that centered around my other passion, wine. I take inspiration from the vines I am now surrounded by in Bourgogne while making monthly visits to Paris, I call my “artist dates”.
As our worlds starts to open up, I am beginning to teach and perform again.
2022 Updates
I am available for classes and performances as a solo artist or with live music accompaniment. I also offer aerial workshops for those who want to explore movement in a fun and non-competitive environment and dive deeper into their own creative process. Teaching since 2012, I have a passion for supporting students of all levels on their artist journeys with a particular focus on aerial technique. I can offer private coaching and mentorship for those who want to develop their skills further or create their own aerial acts.
I’ve taught classes in Paris and the US in the following disciplines: aerial hoop, aerial hammock, aerial dance, aerial choreography, pole dance, burlesque, chair dance, flexibility, conditioning and principals of performance.
Please contact me if you are interested in classes, performances or aerial workshops.
